BMX Photography
I started riding BMX bikes around 1983, and sometime in 1984 got really, really into it. I started going to competitions in 1985, and haven’t stopped riding since. It wasn’t until I was in College for Graphic Design that I started getting into photography. Naturally, since BMX photography was what inspired me to get into art in the first place, and since I was around bikes all the time to begin with, I gravitated toward BMX photography. After a lot of trial and error, I started shooting more seriously around 1997, and have been doing so since. I guess, technically, that makes me a BMX photographer.
This is a random sampling of my work, which you can find on a much more in-depth level around this site, as well as on my studio site, Souney Media. If you’re interested in BMX Photography, take a look around, and let me know if you have any questions. I’ve also embedded a short video profile ESPN did with me in 2010 at the bottom of this page, if you’re interested in knowing more.
