MAGAZINE COVER:
BOSTON'S STUFF MAGAZINE, NOVEMBER 1998

A simple Macintosh trash can, directed towards a society
becoming dependent on machines. The Publisher liked it,
the corporate executives in charge of the magazine's parent
company (The Phoenix Media Communications Group)
hated it. The cover was a departure from the magazine's
earlier covers which tended to feature photographs or
paintings by local fine artists.

I received quite a bit of email about this cover, so it made
some sort of statement, although most people had their
own interpretations.
