The Internet has a lot in common with a public restroom: There's a lot of what is essentially writing on the walls, and a whole lot of shit. Some restrooms are a whole lot cleaner than others. Some sites are cleaner than others. In some cities you have to pay to use a public restroom. Most of us have to pay for our Internet access.

The Internet reflects the culture which created it. Aesthetically the Internet is no more pleasing than a trip through urban America. Technoligical advancements create frustration in our fast paced lives, as there is a never ending need for faster downloads.

The hot new HTML trick has overshadowed the informative nature of what used to be refered to as the "Information Superhighway."
